  We have been a patient with Dr. Mullen's practice for a little over six months. This is our first experience with Orthodontic treatment, and with the plethora of options in Loudoun County, we did our homework before choosing Dr. Mullen. I am pleased to say that our research paid off and we are very happy with Mullen Orthodontics. The Mullen Orthodontics staff has excellent rapport with our 13 year old son. The progress of his treatment is always explained in terms that he can understand. They hold him accountable for keeping his teeth clean and provide an honest assessment of how he is doing with each visit. They are also very good at explaining what pain he may experience after a visit and why. Setting the expectation appropriately for what is going to happen after the visit has made managing the pain and/or eating restrictions very manageable. We are already seeing major progress with our son's teeth.
  
  Making appointments could not be easier. The appointment coordinator can immediately tell us if the suggested date for the next appointment is an A Day or a B Day, so that we can easily manage the appointments around his academic schedule. The office manages traffic flow perfectly. We have never had to wait past our appointment time to be seen.
  
  The financial obligation, our insurance coverage and interaction with flexible spending over the anticipated years of treatment was explained very clearly to us at the beginning of the treatment. All of the coverage and co-payment information that we were given has turned out to be 100% accurate.
  
  I highly recommend Mullen Orthodontics. We have two more children that will need orthodontic treatment, and we wouldn't go anywhere else.
  
  3 Years Later Update: Still loving Mullen Orthodontics and well into our second child's treatment. The end result of our first child's orthodontic work was amazing and everything that we experienced in the first six months has held true!
